Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information The Overseer collects when you use the dashboard, and how it is used.

Last updated June 12, 2026.

Overview

The Overseer is designed to work without accounts and without collecting personal information. You can use the dashboard anonymously.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or provide personal details to use the dashboard, and we do not sell personal data.

Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies or equivalent local storage to remember your preferences and to gather aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Third-party services

The dashboard loads data and media from third-party sources (for example data providers, mapping tiles, embedded video, and error-monitoring and analytics tools). When that content is requested, your browser contacts those providers directly and their own privacy policies apply to the interaction.

Data retention

Aggregate analytics and technical logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and are then deleted or anonymised. Preferences stored on your device remain until you clear them.

Your choices

You can clear your saved preferences at any time by clearing your browser storage, and you can block cookies through your browser. Because we do not maintain user accounts, we typically hold no personal profile to access or delete.

Children's privacy

The Overseer is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
